Francis J. Beckwith's Reflections on Faith, Ethics and Culture
So ironic. I used to listen to all his albums as well as reading his Catholic Chronicles, which were his diatribe against Catholicism (based on L. Boettner's poorly researched writings). And here is Keith Green basically explaining the role of works in our salvation through this clever song. Yet he denied the very Church whose theology he was espousing here. These were some of Keith's final words in Catholic Chronicles: " Never has something so black and wicked, gotten away with appearing so holy and mysteriously beautiful . . . for so long!I suspect Keith has had a role in praying many of us back to the Church as part of his penance in Purgatory.
