Atheists Upset About Mother Teresa Postage Stamp

Read about it here. Here is a link to the "action alert" disseminated by The Freedom from Religion Foundation, the group spearheading the effort to prevent the stamp from being issued by the U.S. Post Office.

I'm always amazed when I read the attacks on Mother Teresa's work by non-believers, especially when they criticize the facilities in Calcutta. Certainly, the nuns don't have available to them all the medical equipment they could have, but at least they're doing something with the poorest of the poor. These sort of attacks show how mean spirited they are.

That FFR piece was the nuttiest, most senseless thing I've read in a long time. Wow...

Let's start a Great Atheist's series of stamps.

We can include Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Hitler, Himmler, Hoxha, Ceaucescu, Pol Pot, and Madelaine Murray O'Hair. ;-)
